Went out about 7 AM. Would have got there earlier but I was under the impression that the gate was locked until 7AM. Should have known it was going to remain unlocked after opening day. Does anybody know if they leave it open during the season? I like to go out early and sometimes get back to dock by 8am or so.

Anyway, good morning on the lake for myself, my son, and his friend. Caught and released a bunch of 8-10 inch stockers and kept a few larger Trips that must have been from last year for the smoker.

Pretty good fishing for as cool as the water was. Surface temps around 54 degrees.
