Met my brother for opening day at Mineral Lake. It's a good thing he got there the day before and had his boat in already because the boat launch was a zoo. Lots of boats out in the morning but it thinned out a little by noon. It was cold and drizzly all day, I overheard someone say the water temp was 43. I caught 2 little plants and my brother caught an 18in. rainbow before I left. Not many people bragging about catching a limit, the fishing was pretty slow. Saw a young kid bring in a 10 lb rainbow trolling a wedding ring and worm. That's always fun to see. Most people were fishing off the bottom with power bait.
