Got to Riffe today at about 10:30 the water level is decent but not high enough to launch at Cosmos, Mossyrock park had one lane open for boat launching. water temp was anywhere from 45 to 51 degrees. i started out with grubs but I couldnt get bit, I switched over to a crankbait and caught one average 2.5 pound smallie right off the bat off a stump. I watched a bank angler catch a small bass with a bobber and worm and saw another bass guy catch two in a row throwing crankbaits at submerged stumps. i only caught the one bass today and my friend caught a decent sized rainbow on a spinnerbait. It was fairly windy today and hard to control my boat so that we could both get a decent casting angle.
