I hit the water at about 9:30am. The weather was overcast with a light wind. Water temp was 52 degrees. I trolled the south end of the lake today. I kept three, lost two nice ones and released a lot of small trout. The three I kept weighed 4.11, 4.9, and 4.3. One of the lost fish was quite a bit bigger than these. I was using a Fish Creek Spinner, orange and gold with a brass blade.

Back from my Vacation on the coast. I was also at Duck Lake on the 15th and did see your truck but did not see you. I fished off of the dock for about 2.5 hours. I was contacted by a WDFW Officer who told me that Duck Lake was recently planted with Triploid Trout up to 6 pounds which explains the large fish and all the folks fishing while I was there. He also told me that everyone he had checked thus far had caught at least one of these large trips and everyone he contacted was either tossing or trolling large Rapala lures. I hooked two small rainbow plants however both spit the hook before landing. I also had the pleasure of fishing with another gentleman and his wife who were in the area on a “mini vacation”. He caught 4 small trout while I was there. Both he and his wife were very nice and it was a pleasure fishing with them. He is also a member of WALakes.com. Anyway, sorry I didn't get to meet you.
