Well, you have to hand it to the local community and whoever else is responsible for taking a bad area and turning it into a nice park. Great job! Benches, short trails, and a pair of nesting eagles. I really like these urban parks. You are right though, the vegetation in the lake has really taken over. Unfortunately so has the trash. There are lots of bottles floating in the little pond on the north side and even a few in the larger pond. What a shame. Saw one tiny bass caught.
