Tried out Beaver from shore on the park side for about four hours. It was a really slow start figuring out what the trout would consistantly bite on. I started out with power eggs of every color for the first two hours and only had a few bites. I only saw four fish caught on power bait the whole time I was there. Switched to an orange cast master and lost two fish in four casts right in the middle of the shore. I started adjusting my speeds and started catching them consistantly. Just real in as slow as you can keeping the action. I had about 12 or so hookups before I left.

I havent had any luck bottom fishing. I launch my pontoon and head straight for the smaller lake to the left of the boat launch. I went out today for a little easter fishing and caught one about 7 inches and let it go. The only luck I have had on this lake is with a Panther Martin lure. Wedding rings worms and powerbait dont seem to help me very much

i was at beaver lake from roughly 8 AM to 2 PM.
it was a bit slow but the guys next to me (near the drain) seemed to be doing really well. they were seeing some action every 10 minutes or so, beilieve he was using a Mepps..
buddy of mine caught 3, 10-12 inchers with a red wedding ring that day...but luck has it, got my wedding ring caught on a tree within 10 minutes of me getting there! Had a few bites on a Blue fox but no luck for me.

went back today around 4PM. started raining cats and dogs so i left right away.
