I got permission from my friend Adam to share my Walleye hotspot with you guys at Washington Lakes .com. Took my fiancee Pamela out in my 10' Jon boat to Evergreen because I was suspecting that the word was out and that there were gonna be crowds on the bank. We arrived in mid channel to discover that we had the the spot to our selves. Pam's first cast was rewarded with a 18" male walleye! (She's hooked on Walleye fishing now). It took darkness to hit before my good friend Adam would show up and the fish would start hitting. By then, I had boated 3 more keepers when Pam hollered for me to get the net. She landed a beautiful 23" fish after it took her for a ride in the current. My top producer was a 5" guacamole Kalin's grub on a 1/8th oz specialty jighead. Most of our fish came on the drop, casting to pockets among the boulders where the walleye were lying in wait. I think that the unigue flat shape of my jighead kept Pam and I from hanging up often. Adam was freaking out because evidently a very large Tiger Musky took a swipe at his Rapala, judging by the sound of the splash and his humerous cussing! We could've caught our 8 fish limits this night, but I was satisfied with the 5 fish that we already had. Hopefully my digital fish pictures will successfully download this site. One note- the full moon is waning the rest of this weekand the rating for the weekend and rest of the week is rather low. If you go, good luck! . The Jigmiester
