Fished from a boat a good chunk of the day. Was overcast and a tad cool but dry. The lake and Henley's seemed awful quiet for a Friday, particularly before a holiday weekend. Anyway, we worked pretty hard at different locales and depths. Tried different rigs, baits, even tried a few flies. Not one hit or bite! It was really strange not to be able to ask how others had done as there was no one else fishing when we returned to the dock. I have had tough days before but this was really bad. There has to be fish in there, I just have to find a way to get them to hit. On a side note, I was told they won't do any stocking until October, for next year. Tight lines!
