Tried Duck lake yesterday. The weather was cloudy with a slight NW wind. The water temp ranged from 47 degrees on the main lake to 50 degrees in the shallow canals. There were supposed to be 5000 Trout planted on the 9th of March. We covered the 4 main sections of lake and did not see any of the planted fish. We did manage to catch 2 small crappie in about 20' feet of water. There is still no active weed growth in the lake. We did mark some fish laying in deep water near dropoffs.
