Despite the recent stocking of 3,000 rainbows, all I caught was cold.
It was a dry day, partially cloudy and windy. Eased my way, into the middle of the swimming area. The only guy who caught was off a water bobber and green fly, casted toward the floating barrier. It was about 9:00.
Others were trying 1 to 4 feet off the bottom with various colors of power bait and power eggs. There was a lot of water bobber with fly action, but nothing else caught.
I moved over to the second pier and tried deep water for a half hour. Left around 11:00. I don't know if the bite, besides from the wind, got better.
