Today I got a late start about 3:00pm.I don't know if this lake has always been this dirty but is was tricky for me at first. I trolled red, green, chart., pink. I got one hit. So tried something new and man I could not keep them off. I used three orange beads with a silver hammered Colorado blade a size 2.The fish were pretty close to the top. So that just shows that if you try new things your day will pay off sometimes. Weather was iffy when I left home but once I got there it wasn't great but I didn't get wet. Around 6:00pm I switched to small split shot and worm way out behind the boat and was kinda cool watching the fish smack at it. There is still a lot of fish out here you just have to do the time and it will pay off. I caught and released a lot but I was able to muster 4 fish in 18 to 20 in range. Well next week I'm going out to alder and I hope the water temp is right. Till next time happy fishing.
