Our first outing of the year as we just got our boat back from North River (it was to be a trade in). Enough said about that! After licking my wounds we decided to go fishing. All in all a good day as we didnt fight the rain or wind and together as a family. Tried slow rolling spinner baits in various colors and blade shapes, drop shot, and natural color jigs. Our first and outing of the year and first time on Shoecraft. We marked a few fish in the south cove, but no takers. Only two other boats on the water: one other basser and the other a family looking for the trout.
