On the water around 9AM,started pitching a jig in search of bass but no takers. About an hour later decided to troll for trout using a variety of spoons...still no takers. The wind started to pick up pretty heavy around 12:30PM and we called it a day.

The lake looks more like chocolate milk right now...its always stained but looks darker than normal. While loading the boat out,a gentleman on the dock hooked a nice trout, probably 15 inches...thats was my son and I's excitement for the day and the guy was using a combo of a worm and powerbait.

My last couple trips here have been unproductive but I know this lake holds some quality bass.
