Well Hello There Bass Guys and all anglers .. Good Buddy of mine Sparky (oly-boyz) and i decided to give WA WA a go Saturday morning .. We got started around 8am and fished till bout 3:30 pm ..Mainly stayed in the east channel for most of the day , we did make up past 90 for a few as well . Weather condition were great Saturday , flat winds all day, south winds half the day and north winds for the second half a few sun breaks . Water surface temp was about 41-43 degrees through out the day . We started the day with a fish only after the first few cast and manage to land three keepers through out the day . Only problem is none of the bass we got had any size to them . There was a few fish that had pushed up to the 30' range , so we focused our efforts between 30-42 ft most of the day .. However i must say that our last fish came from about 25' ft off Coleman point .. Football heads and dropshoting both produced fish Saturday . Had a good time fishing with WL.COM member , Saturday was sparkys first time out on wa wa and i think after that day i think the "oly-boys" will be making many more trips back down here soon .. I talked to a few guys at the launch after the day ended and was told that they also got three fish but nothing over 3+ . cant wait to get back out again and I'm really enjoying this winter bass fishing , i cant believe i cheated myself of this last year ...

Well till next time may your next bass be your best bass ... god bless and take care !!!

Hey Dez,
I was the guy at the launch with the white Nitro Z-7. I didn't even recognize you then, but I got it figured out now. Our fish came deeper from 42-50ft on 3 way rigs. I've caught fish on numerous occasions in 25' in January. I like to fish like Mark does, and just cover lots of productive water with 3 way rigs, and heavy leadheads, but will slow down from time to time if I'm catchin numerous fish from one spot. Anyways good going on those fish, and I'm sure will see you out there again!
