After spending a lot of our time fishing Mason County lakes, we decided to go to a lake we haven't been too. After much debate we decided to head out to St Clair Lake. So my bother in-law, one of his friends & myself headed out and got out there about nine in the morning. it was about 30 degrees, water was nice & calm. So we thought it was going to be a good day lol. Well.....after fishing the whole lake, trying everything thing we had, scents, colors you name it, not one bite, no sign of life. Finally about 1:30 we headed out and went up to Cabelas for a while. someone posted on here this lake takes a lot of Patients, lol after a half of a day with nothing we kinda ran out of it lol. So Tomorrow we are going to head out to maybe Spencer. We will be back again, but will wait till spring or even summer.

ill tell ya how to fish that lake. this time of year, put your boat in or fish off the old boat launch side. with a worm an orange or green powerbait on the bottom.
youll catch nice sized trout. summer time, troll for trout with red weddingrings with a peice of worm on the hook. or if your into bass fishing, after july you can pretty much through anything in the water an catch a bass, just gotta catch bout 40 small ones before you get that bigger bite once in a while
