Hit Bead bright and early with neon green glow jigs in the 1oz size with a night crawler for added appeal trying for a burbot or mack or even a squawfish, didn't really care just wanted to feel a tug on the end of my line. Haven't been fishing for a while due to my bird hunting addiction. Didn't even get a bite, fished from about 8 am-noon. Not sure on the depth but we tried deep, deeper, and not as deep with nothing to show for it. The two other fishermen near us were doing no better so we decided to tuck tail and run and watch the big game. The ice was about 10" thick and making noises the whole time we were there, very nerve wracking to hear a big crack then a bunch of crackling coming up to you, especially when you can feel it!
