Fished for 3 hours or so, tried worms, corn, powerbait, and mealworms. Started off fishing 8-18 feet, graphed several fish and tried switching colors, and bait with no luck. Had better luck after we moved out to 35 feet of water graphed a significant amount of fish and caught one 6 inch bow.

I haven't heard much about Waits this winter other than a few trout. Years ago it used to be a pretty good winter perch fishery. Next time your up there stop and try the Colville river drifting night crawler. There are some truly impressive Browns in it.

Hey I fished next to you at elokia and used your auger. If you want to catch alot of fish go fish silver. About 150 feet from shore right past the buoys. I caught fish non stop all day long. They were perch and only kept 1 out of 5 fish caught. But hey I got a bite every 30 seconds or less all day. I am going back today aroun noon.
