2/2/2009 11:51:00 AMSalmonhawk-I got a Cabelas XMLTi 6'9" Drop shot rod! It is a very nice rod in my opinion with titanium guides that are good for braided line! There is allot of rods out there that specialize in specific techniques so you can search for a dropshot out there from a different outfit! Just do your homework and don't overpsend! I love the cabelas XMLTi's and the price is right. I also own a XMLTi baitcasting rod too!

2/2/2009 1:14:00 PMi took my g3 out for the 1st time saturday for a test run etc...Ive never operated a bass boat w/ or w/o planning fin. But i know w/ one the ride is more leveled...We have the same boat so i know what the ride is like =)
