went to the small dock on the east side of the lake. used power eggs. had just set the pole down and started getting a bite right away. it came un-buttoned before I could get a look at it. I met a nice fellow named Sam. he was using two or three power eggs stacked one on top of another. He caught a small one around 10" or so. fished for a couple of hours and called it a day.I'm off tomorrow and think I can get the honey do list knocked out early enough to try my luck again. I'd also like to mention that I met two other Wash.Lakes readers on the same dock last week. And for their young ages these guys had a lot of fish savey and very mature attitudes. it was truly a pleasure fishing with them both.

TRUE THAT VERY AWSOME THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS AND WASHINGTON LAKES MEMBERS ARE OUT IN FORCE.ALL MOST FEELS LIKE A FAMILY BEYOND YOUR FAMILY VERY NICE FOLKS .IVE MET 3 PEOPLE IN ONE DAY THAT I WANTED TO MEET FOR A LONG TIME,THEY HAVE SUCH GOOD INFO TO SHARE.MAYBE WASHINGTON LAKES SHOULD MAKE A PIN TO PUT ON YOUR HAT OR SHIRT TO SHOW YOU ARE A WASH LAKES MEMBER ,BE CHEAP AND COOL TO SEE HOW MANY ARE OUT THERE.I LOOK FORWARD TO FISHING WITH EVERYONE IN 09 .GREAT JOB BIG MIKE ,BRADON AND SHAUN YOU GUYS ARE GREAT EXAMPLES OF HOW IT SHOULD BE.

Big mike try going to the dock on the west side. Davis i think thats how you spell it is normally a little better fishing. Me a couple friends fish down there every once and a while and normally all catch at least 1 fish. try using a bobber and worm or even power eggs both work pretty good.

The guy named Sam I mentioned in my report also told me that fishing from Davis on the west side has been quite productive. last week inspite of all the rainfall he said he caught two that went 18" each underneath the metal canopy on the dock.Bradon and Shaun were using bobbers and worms with long leaders and swear by them.I thought inflating a worm with a syringe and floating it off the bottom with a long leader might hit pay dirt. IN the forum section it offers W.L. hats for sale. but it says their out of stock. I'll try to contact Mike Carey and see if they are available yet. Hope to see you out on the lake. floating worms off bottom works also to. me and my friends would use a worm threader and a corky or 2 and use that and did fairly well
