My 7yr old ladie and I got out there about 10ish and it was 22 degrees. We kept having a problem with our tip icing up but all in all we had fun an froze. Caught 6 in an hr, couple of really nice 1 plus pounders fishin in deep water. There were a few other people there. They didn't catch anything but they were only casting 15-25 feet from the shore. I was about 40ish.

tight lines all.

Gotta love fishing this time of year. Less competition for the prime spots and the fish really taste best when caught in cold water. It's always great to here that the youngsters are getting out to fish. They remember it for the rest of their lives and usually end up being active stewards for the environment. Keep it up!

the dock is cash jens.... if you fish to the left of it there are some big logs that you can snag on so i go about 10oclock off the corner of the dock
