Finally got up to Beaver Sunday afternoon. Arrived just before 1pm. Boat launch parking lot was about full. Quite few people fishing over at the park from shore, but not packed. Maybe 20+ boats on the water. Trolled a variety of tackle and colors at various depths working the shoreline and middle of the lake. The weather was nice with the temperature, moderate and no breeze. Quite a bit of debris on the surface of the water, but didn't have any problems with snagging junk. Looked mostly like cedar debris. Used flatfish, wedding ring, rapala, and a panther martin. Seemed like half the boats were trolling and half were sitting still. The only fish I saw caught were from those that were still-fishing and those were dinks. Although, I did see one guy who was trolling miss a strike. Looked like most were using powerbait. Gave up after 2 hours without a nibble. A guy was cleaning trout at the launch as I was loading. He had a couple of nice fish (2-3 lbs), the outside color was dark, but the meat was a nice pink.
