Great fishing was had by all! We caught 55 triploids, and 2 perch as well! Water temp was 59 degrees all day. Air temperature was more like 45. :(
When the bite was on, it was ON! Many doubles were had, Many, many more fish were lost before getting to the boat. It was a simple method too. Troll the shores around 30-50' out at 1.8-2mph with a fly about 120' back and 3' down. trolling along the dam barrier was quite productive, and there was a tree by the launch area that got hits almost every time we passed.
Needless to say it was a great experience for our first time on the lake. Just look at the pics!
Thanks to Joe Heinlen and Anton Jones of Darrell and Dad's Family Guide Service (www.darrellanddads.com). Every time we go out with them we have a great time.
