After reading G-mans reports...we hit the lake. It was a rather windy day on the lake. Fished pop gear/cow bells and a orange/red wedding ring with a dough treble hook with orange power bait on one real. Fished a green glow flasher with a purple/white haze large squid on the other real. No fish, no bits to report. Fished 40-60 and 100-120. We saw a lot of fish on the fish finder at both depths. Trolled fast, trolled very slow. Tried a coyote spoon too. Fish N of 520 bridge and evergreen point. We also fished N of I90 and N. Mercer and Faben Point. No luck. I may need to pay G-man for a private charter. Our day was still better than being home or stuck at work.

Fish shallower. No need for pop-gear. Powerbait is a turn-off to these native cutts.
They're there.

One other quick comment. If you are fishing pop-gear on one side and a flasher and hoochie on the other side you will most likely be traveling too fast for the pop gear or too slow for the flasher setup. It is really important to adjust your trolling speed to make sure whatever gear you are using works properly in the water.
