Whatcom is still kicking out kokanee. Went today and once late last week, tons of action. Every other one is about 10-11". lots of nice cutthroat also, including a PB 18"er. All fish released the last couple times out. good luck....

Way to go RWR! Especially with the cutts, there should be some monsters in this lake with all those kokanee swimming about. I still think they need to up the limit on kokanee for this lake and/or plant fewer fry so the kokes can get some size to them. Lakes Kachess, Cle Elum and Keechelus all have had a 16 kokanee a day limit as 10" is about as big as you'll find in those lakes. Whatcom looks like a lake that has the potential for large kokes but I have not heard of anyone pulling out a fish that can compare with those from American Lake or Lake Stevens. However, big or small, they still taste great on the plate!

Thanks. Just happened to find a couple hot spots I guess. Action has been good, skiers non-existent, and water calm......great fishing. I just wish I hadn't broke my camera trying to fix it!!
Anybody want anymore info let me know, we only got till the 31st!
