Got to the lake at about 8:30. Left at 3:30. Started out slowly pitching a worm and reeling in. Only caught a couple of small perch this way. Then I tried some crawdad attractant on the worms. I casted this and let it sit. About a minute later a fish hit it. Caught three 10-11 inch rainbows this way. Also caught a few perch this way. The largest perch was 11 inches. That is the biggest perch I have caught. The other perch were all smaller than 7 inches. The water temperature has really cooled down since early September. I only kept the three trout. No bass caught. All in all, it was a great day of fishing.
