Hit this nice cool chilly morning lake with Bassmasterderek,arrived at daybreak outside temp 31.Got on the water, bundled up, made our first run.Went to a spot that thought would hold some bass since it has deep off shore structure,well it held trout boated 1 there about a pound,BMD hit a smallie after that, boated another big trout,moved to another spot,fished for awhile boated smallie,BMD played big trout to boat then it came off,got some more smallies.Very chilly day but a good way to start the fall cool morning fishing.Pictured are 2 of the smallies and my other one i posted in fall contest,since this in technically a True fall bass.Water temp was 56-59, dropshotting prevails again,depths 27'-40'All fish swam freely away and unharmed.
