Well, the boy and I went out today to Lake Wa. in the 14ft aluminum. Another day on the windy lake. We fished around Mercer Island~ started on the south side, working our way east~ trolled for a while, then the boy wanted to hit the docks for some bass. Nothing ... Going counter clockwise around the island, went under I-90, then running into the far west side of the bridge, threw our lines out for another try before going home. We got about half the length of I-90 and I was done. I started to reel my gear up and the boy says `something is wrong`, so me, DAD... turned around thinking `rats nest` but, no... fish on! He pulled it up ... i thought it was dragging for a while, not very lively... nice 14" kokanee/sockeye! (full of sea lice around its hind end ) He was using a silver dodger / with a red U.V. spoon~ 25' down. Here's a few pics I took with my cell . Nice end to a long day.
