I usually hit the the lake once a week because I live 5 minutes from the launch. It has been slow lately but I had opportunity to go last Saturday afternoon when it was raining. I was the only one on the lake (go figure!, my wife thinks I'm nuts) and picked up a few casting a grub. Then I hit a 7.6 in a cove on a top water, never expected it. If I can catch one of these on an outing I feel I have had a good day. Oh yeah, I catch and release.
