Well Lake Washington opened for coho mid week and I've been itching to give it a go. My son and I hit the north end of the lake, around Hunt's point, at 8:00am and fished until 1:30pm. The weather was perfect, light rain and almost no wind the entire time out but the fish did not seem to care. We had one fish within 10' of the boat before it spit the hook and headed back to the depths from whence it came. It was definitely a coho, though rather small, not more than 5 pounds and had just a tinge of red starting to show along its sides. We hooked this fish in 100' of water 90' down using a army truck apex and green Pro-Troll flasher at a speed of about 2.5mph. Other lures tried included: Hot Shot w/rattle, Coho Killer with flasher, Coyote Spoon with flasher and Wiggle Wart w/rattle. Our trolling speed was between 2 and 3mph and we marked fish between 45' and 100' down. There weren't many other boats out fishing and they did not appear to have any better luck than we had.
Side Note: Now that there are very few boats out on the water, King County's finest were out and about on the lake. They nailed a boater speeding under the 520 bridge and the stop turned into a full blown boat safety/equipment check. You've been warned!
