Beautiful late afternoon & evening fishing at a favorite lake. lots of fish in the 15-25 ft water column, but not readily biting. Some fish were rising to the surface most of the time. Sinking line with a variety of flies.... no luck. Floating line using black WB... 2 fish. Dry fly... nada! water temp-67 other fisherman-3, with the same story. Still a bit early...

trout fishing always seems to die down during the full moon phase. good job getting at least 2, what size?

I didn't realize Rattlesnake ever hit 25' deep, even during highwater phases. Good to know. I've always had better luck out there early in the season but haven't fished it since early last year.
