Hit long lake again this time with sparky! Launched around 4 p.m. and left at about 8 p.m. Hit some good spots quick to get some in the boat. We got into about 6 bass within the first 30 minutes. I caught a nice 4.02oz greenie on a senko, it's been awhile since I used a senko (due to being my old crutch bait) but the conditions were good for it and we wanted to get some bass in the boat in a hurry. My nice fish grabbed the senko and went straight for the tree he came from, I eventually pulled him out of two branches and got it in the boat. A quick photo was taken and a quick weight check and then released to gain some weight. When I checked my line I saw the results of line being rubbed against branches. Re-tied and I was set.
We moved to a couple of other spots and caught several more using my favorite zara spook, sparky's tube and some jigs, spinnerbaits, and buzzbaits. Fish seemed very hungry so they are beafin up for winter already. All fish ranged from 1 to 2 pounds. All in all lots of fish caught in four hours so it was a great day. Tight lines everyone and get out there before it gets too cold!
As far as the photo goes...Great photo shot by sparky and crappy long arm job by me!
