Got on the lake around 6:00 a/m after deciding not to go to another spot I was going to try. "Turned out to be the right choice". The morning was really foggy.. perfect fishin weather! I was using a top water plug on the North end for the first 30 min. and had a couple misses but I wanted to go to the West side so I started heading over there and decided to stop on the way to hit some pilings. I cast out and as I was reeling back in I had to pull the lure up over some lilly pads about 20 feet from the boat and when the lure hit the other side this Monster tagged it. IT WAS AWESOME!!! I manged to lip it into the boat and took a couple of pictures. Weighed in at just over 7lbs. I hung out at the pilings and caught this 2.5 lber about 20 minutes later. Caught a little dink after that and then the bite died when the sun came through the fog.
