What a great day at the lake. Five of us floated a canoe just short of the shore on the eastern shore. Got untold numbers of Cat Fish.. And many many crappie , (blue gills) Some trout too.... The funny thing was I caught some yellow perch too. Small ones , but I was surprised to see perch in fish trap. The day was awesome. We didn't limit on trout but we made up for it in cat fish and blue gills. Fun Day.

How big were the fish you were catching? Also, you mentioned Crappie - were you referring to just bluegills?

Also, I've caught quite a few perch in fishtrap - mostly small though.

May I ask what you guys were using? I have never been to that lake. Sounds like a good day.
