I had the opportunity to fish Quail lake for the first time. The weather was great. The water, however was cold. I lasted about 2 1/2 hours before I could not feel my feet anymore. My outing was successful. I caught 2 very fat 16 inch rainbows on a olive wolly bugger. I also caught a 20 inch brown on the same fly. I hooked two other fish but they won the wrestling match. All the fish were released. It was a great lake to fish.
