Well me and a couple of my buds went fishing at hicks lake in lacey.
we got there about 10:30 and left at 1:30. we heard it was a good bass lake so we decided based on the overcast sky that the bass should be in a little deeper water so , at the start we fished the lilly's and caught a dinker about 8 oz. then we worked our way over to the very tip of the lilly's were its developed I thought that
since were coming up on some docks I decided to texas rig a ZOOM brush hog. so I threw it out there to just practice my technique. right when I started swimming the bait to the boat a big ol 4lbs jumps on. at first I thought it was a smallmouth because it jumped so high out of the water. we landed her and threw her back in. overall hicks is the best bass lake I've fished
