Fishing solo, I launched the ol' Bass Tracker onto Crescent Lake to try for a bass or two. It was cool, overcast and a little windy. I tried several lures but the 10 inch worm that Trent Hale gave was the only one that produced fish. I caught 2 nice bass -- Not lunkers, but not dinks either. One fish was 15 1/2 inches and 2 pounds even and the other was 16 inches and 2 pounds, 2 ounces. Only one other boat on the lake and that was bass angler "Mike". Both fish were released after Mike shot them with his camera. Told him about washingtonlakes.com and he seemed eager to look it up.
