Sunday my friend and i decided to try out fan lake for the first time in a canoe. We were on the water by about 8:30 id say, fished with mostly crankbaits and plastics. We did end up catching about 6 lmb, 3 perch, and a bluegill. Not too bad, oh ya, and i think i hooked into Nessie. We were fishing by some submerged logs when i thought my crankbait got snagged on one so i stopped reeling, all the sudden my drag started flying out. there was no stopping this beast, it ended up breaking off my line when it went under one of the trees. iv landed 4 and 5 pound bass and the power this one had put them to shame! i will definitely be back to try for him again
