I launched at 9:30am just killing time before going to work. Man is this lake overgrown with weeds. Any portion of the lake shallower than 10' is thick with a stringy weed that immediately fills your prop up if you run through it. I read that they were putting an herbicide in there sometime this month. Anyway I fish the perimeter of the lake and managed a feisty 2.5 lb LMB on a Berkley frog near the newly fallen tree. After one lap around I gave up and trolled down the middle for trout. Had a lot of strikes and managed to hook 2 about 12" each.
