Great to be back to the great lake.

First time out this year on Waitts. Weather was warm one minute and cold and blowing the next. Typical springtime in the area. The water was a little choppy and thus murky. Only managed one 12 in bow using green wedding band and worm on south end. Dad got a real fighter bow about the same size.
Fishing was pretty slow, probably due to the winds, and the trout that were biting were biting light. I'm sure it'll pick up soon. Heard according to legend a 10 and 15 pounder were taken in the north side the week prior.
Hope to see lots more reports about my favorite lake and future retirement location.
