Fished Lake Joy from 8 am 'til noon. Sunny and bright, little or no wind, water warm and visibility about 4 feet. Had consistent action with smallmouths today. Although I tried other lures the only thing that produced were unweighted senkos fished in shady sides of docks near deep water. Senko color did not seem to matter. Caught 10 fish over 10" with the largest going about 2 lbs. Surprizingly, I did not see or hook any largemouths, but I am not complaining. Beautiful day with beautiful fishing.
