hit eloika lake Friday and fished the slough i had prior luck with and caught about 6 fish back there biggest about two lbs.
and caught a few perch the same day and called it a night. the next day caught fish all day across from jerrys using a wacky senko and spinnerbait biggest fish went 2.8 lbs on spinnerbait went back to the dock and tied off and i had seen a 4 lb bass hanging around there earlier that morning so i casted a 5 inch power worm at some weeds and wound it back slow and caught my first ever pike which weighed three lbs took it to jerrys and he took a pic. which i do not have. and boy do they fight good and they have crazy teeth my finger slipped into his mouth and he cut me really deep i bled right away it is still tender jerry said that was the only other one caught out of there and he would not let me let the fish go so i cleaned it and have not eatin it yet.. went out later that night and ended up with fifty two bass about thirty keepers and today about 15 all on wacky senkos i like this lake a lot more now i figured it out so i will be back more often and try for more pike elsewhere.. tightlines

I would love to figure this lake out, if you ever need someone to fish with I don't live too far from Eloika and would love to go out. I could go with you or I have a boat as well.

Are you sure it wasn't a pickerel? Not giving you a hard time but this lake has tons of them. But if its a pike...I'll have to try this lake.Either way..nice work out there.
