Last summer I was fortunate enough to fish out here in Washington. It was a
great trip!
I am from Missouri so I am not familiar with a lot of your fish. But I
caught lots of largemouths(my largest 3 lbs.), perch, bluegill, and
bullheads. I caught all my largemouths trolling plastic worms on 4 lb.
test very slowly. I also caught some
accidental perch on my 4 inch firetail worm. Bluegill were easily caught
off docks with
earthworms and jigs. I also caught a smallmouth, but I am not knowledgable
on
there haunts and habits. Bullheads took my time once the sun went down.
Though it takes a lot to make a meal, they are very fun to catch. I tied my
boat to a ski dock
and put a chunck of hotdog on a treble hook and let it to the bottom. I
carry on a conversation and lay my rod down. As soon as my rod starts
moving down, reel it up.
I can catch one every 3 minutes-they are 6 to 8 inches long.
Everybody else is fishing for trout at night-maybe next year. I was
wondering if there are any walleyes?
Hope I could be some help.
