Got out to the north side of Seward park about 10 am. started fishing in the Lily pads and the areas around it. It seemed warm enough out that I should have been able to pull in some pan fish or maybe a bass. I tried a few different Lures (wedding rings, rooster tails and I forget what else...) and got some bites on some but was never able to set the hook or get them to bite again. Not to upset though, all in all it was a beautiful day out on the shore and I didn't get bugged by too many people so it was peaceful.

Next Saturday a friend is taking me out on his boat to go after some king salmon in the sound, will be my first trip of that kind out there so I am looking forward to it.
