This is a combined report for both Friday and Saturday.The weather report was so good for Friday that a vacation day was taken and we hit the lake in the morning around 8:30.We used the same thing as we have been the last few weeks.Dick Nites, trolling shallow.Cuttthroat was the name of the game today, beautifull fish, 14" range and MAN!! CAN THEY FIGHT!!!!!.We released 10 or better for another day and kept 3 for the BBQ..We left around 12:30 .The weather was calm and the sun hot, got quite the sunburn.
Satudays report was similiar except this day was Rainbow day. Fishing the same as Friday we released 13 pan size Cutts and kept 5 Rainbow 13-15".My wife was very pleased as she enjoys cooking the Rainbows a little better than the Cutts.Needless to say we had BBQ Rainbows that night. with fresh steamed asparagus...YUM! I'll have to post our recipe on the forum that we have been using.
