Fished Loon Lake for Silvers. Being a Monday the lake was quiet. We used two very different setups. We had one pole of leaded line with a small dodger, a double wammie, and corn. The other pole was surface line, a small dodger and a cherry bobber tipped with corn. The leaded line at 3-3.5 colors out fished the surface line 3 to 1. The surface line was fished about 200 feet behind the boat.
We caught a lot of fish, but lost double that in hook-ups, and had many more hits that didn't amount to a hook-up.
Great day with great weather. Fish ran between 10 and 12.5 inches.
