I figured out the way to not getting my car broken in at this lake -- ride a bicycle. I pumped up my tires and wiped off the layer of dirt accumulated over the winter and spring on my bike and jumped on and peddled to Rotary. I started out with the same floating/ rattling rapala that I used in my previous report, and had NO luck at all. I finally switched over to a Rebel Pop-R and casted along the weed line in about four or five feet of water, and started having lots of bites. In the matter of fifteen minutes, I had caught the only three I would catch the entire outing. Two Largemouth (on the small size, but still scrappers) and one blue gill. I fished the North end of the lake again. Nothing beats unwinding on a pond with a fishing pole after a long day of work.
