RB and I got on the lake about 5:00 pm and went down by the girl scout docks. The first fish was in 3' of water nailed a green pumpkin 10" worm. There were some on bed but the one I caught was a cruiser swimming around the bedders. We moved to the north end of the lake and found some more only caught one more on a black jig with a june bug trailer. RB was using a green and yellow jig with a green craw trailer and missed a 7+ trout that started to jump out of the water for the jig it was cool to see that big trout trying to get that jig. The sun went down before we could fish the west side but we'll be back. The two bass were 5.5 and 4.0 pounds and released.
