got out to beaver today from 10-1pm. was slow at first, using berkely power nymphs on a 1/32oz jig weight underneath a bobber. was slow for most of the day. went with a buddy, he picked up one stocker, I had two stockers plus this much larger one that started to freak out as it was getting closer to shore. he was wrapping the line around the plants so I let him run back out so I could land him on the beach part. didn't have a scale but it was a decent sized fish. had a lot of fun with my buddy on a nice day. sorry the pics show the fish gutted so he might not look as girthy as he should.
