Took the boat out with my kids for the first time this year. Went through a huge overhaul this winter on the 16 foot richline. New floor, carpet, floatation foam... etc. Started with the ol standby, classic daredevil with a gold back. Hat my first hit just a few seconds after it hit the water while I was trying to set up my sons line. Pulled in several nice bows and a couple of good size carry overs. My son used a blue fox vibrax and he was hot all day long, catching almost everything we got into the boat. I switched around a bit and had the most action on a black flatfish. Spotted a bald eagle also doing some fishing. We were the only boat on the lake. Had a few power baiters at the boat launch and a couple float tubes around. A great day and good fishing.
