Fishing at Jump Off Joe is beginning to really take off. The Browns and Brookies have grown and taken hold. The Rainbows are small and outnumbered but if there is one thing I have caught enough of it's rainbows. I'm still killing 'em dead with the same technique I have used there for 2 years now. I throw a weightless nightcrawler out about 20 feet, reel about three times and let it float down to the bottom. Periodically reel and then let it drop again. If you start getting perch add some powerbait to ward them off. You'll know the difference between the two when they take the bait. The trout will hit hard and fast while the perch will nibble until they hook themselves. Have fun and take care of this place, see you there!
